The Hogs of Arkansas have had several dominating teams over the years. The school holds over 60 championships between its mens' and womens' athletic teams. While its track and field teams have been the most dominant, the football program is by far the most popular sport played in Fayetteville.
The basketball program was named one of the top 10 NCAA programs of all time under 800 game winning head coach Eddie Sutton.
The most notable game in the history of Razorback athletics was the ''Game of the Century'' played against the Longhorns of Texas in 1969. This game featured the #1Horns against the #2 Razorbacks. Although Arkansas lost this game, it helped to establish them as a national powerhouse at the time.
